| MDT Advisers is currently seeking an individual to join its Internal Sales Team as an Internal SMA Sales Representative.
Responsibilities for this position:
- Conduct outbound telephone calls to clients and prospects to discuss and generate interest in the firm’s investment services
- Support new business development and cross selling
- Respond to client and financial advisor inquiries about the firm’s investment strategies, investment process, performance returns, portfolio transactions and individual separately managed account programs, mutual funds and mutual fund family
- Coordinate daily outgoing communications, including correspondence and email campaigns
- Schedule and confirm meetings for external specialists with financial advisors, consultants, and prospects
- Fulfill all financial advisor requests for materials
- Provide support to external specialists in the field through coordination of schedules and daily activities
- If selected the individual will be required to sign an Employment Agreement
A successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses - must possess or obtain immediately
- Minimum three years related experience preferred
- Understanding of securities markets, economic factors, the separately managed accounts industry and mutual funds
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral communication skills (telephone voice) and presentation skills
- Excellent decision-making, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
